General Dentistry

Dr. Shu Deng earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Dental Medicine from Tianjin Medical University, where he also led a general dentistry practice and taught implant techniques for 7 years. He then completed his Advanced Standing Doctor of Dental Medicine program at Boston University with high honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Dr. Deng is a seasoned practitioner focused on preventive care and personalized treatment. He has placed around 1,500 dental implants and has published innovative research on implant success and pain. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading, swimming, and cooking with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Sahar, a native of Brookline, received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University in 2017. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital, where she primarily treated special-needs and medically complex patients.

She obtained her specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY before returning to her home state of Massachusetts. Dr. Sahar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and serves as one of the orthodontists on the Craniofacial Cleft Lip and Palate Team at Tufts Medical Center. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
